The Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Publishing Arts (CWPA) from the University of Baltimore awards the Plork Prize each year to one MFA in CWPA student who exhibits the most "plork" (play + work) during their thesis year. All graduating CWPA students are eligible for this annual award.​​
